A wicked witch has stolen your trusty sword and locked herself away in the Forgotten Citadel. Can you collect the 3 Key Orbs, enter the Citadel, and defeat the witch to reclaim what is yours?

Use elemental magic to defeat foes, explore the terrain, collect mystical relics, and defeat the wicked witch in this 2D action adventure game, made in the style of the original Game Boy for GBJAM 9!

Controls

Z = Fire, Collect/Place Orb, Start Game
X = Hold to Strafe
Space = Change Element
Esc = Pause
Press various button combinations while paused (or on startup) to change the color palette!

WARNING: Due to a respawn glitch, be sure not to place any of your Orbs in the pedestals until after all 3 have been collected.

TIP: Don't forget to use your elements, which are each unlocked when you collect a corresponding orb! Fire is particularly powerful (unlocks when you collect the orb in the southwest!)

TIP: When you have all 3 orbs, you must place them in the pedestals outside the cathedral to open it!
